and i'm not asking all game ... but when we bring pressure the soft coverage negates it ... we need that extra beat to get home with our current personnel

FAMU decided the ball comes out in 2 seconds no matter what. The most they could hope for were 10 yard passes. To me that's a game plan that says let's not try to lose by too much. CIS prefers sacks over points allowed, yards allowed, penalties.

he got his sack last week playing DT. Your best pass rush on 3rd down is Lightfoot on the end, Blount and Moten inside, and I guess Wilson. But Pickett may be our best 3rd and long guy on the end outside of 8.

That’s true. He just has that power I love to see from the edge
 
Should people be concerned ? Nah , but it’s ok to see multiple red flags at spots that could be exposed against better competition. Most fans just don’t care about that stuff, wins are the best cologne.

Next Friday we’ll find out a lot about the secondary and pass rush. Not sure about the OL being tested.

Herbert and Ashari can give us something, I'm confident in that.

We need to rotate them in of course, but I don't think we're as shallow there as we think we are.

Ashari is a freshman and Scroggins is being pigeoned hold into a Bain/Mesi DE and he’s not that.
