I WOULD LIKE CONGRATS ON CALLING **** BEFORE IT HAPPENS

All week they had us on upset alert. So we win and they say they aren't impressed and drop us. It's definitely a Miami thing.

I remember in 2004 when we beat ranked Louisville at home on a Devon Hester kick return. The next day we dropped in the polls and Louisville moved up. I doubt that has ever happened any other time in the history of the game.

THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING.......... WE'VE GOT TO STOP STICKING OUR HEADS IN THE SAND. OUR KIDS ARE PLAYING HARD FOR THEMSELVES AND US I'LL BE DAMNED IF THEY GONNA CHEAT OUR KIDS OUT OF WHAT THEY DESERVE

What do you suggest we do about it? Other than getting coaching jobs and votes, I don't see that we have any control over this.

I'm gonna withhold most of my venom until after VT and ND games. Right now, the pollsters are ****ting on UM. "Oh they just barely beat a bad Syracuse team" you say? Well, Clemson lost to them and still jumped Miami in the poll somehow. If Miami beats UNC, VT and ND and they're still on the outside looking in at the playoff, then we can all lose our ****. Until then, let's keep a little perspective.

That said, our win against FSU is looking worse and worse every week. When the schedule only features a couple marquee teams, it really hurts for one of them to suck as bad as the semenholes have this year.

If we beat those teams, we'd still need to go through the Atlantic winner before it mattered where we were ranked. Sitting at #5 then beating Clem would do it with the committee if not the coaches/writers.

This pretty much

JJBro has a point. There was a racial component to the restrictions on celebrations that seemed to come after the UM Texas Cotton bowl match. But I dont buy the racial component of anti U sentiment. Most teams are majority black ,some with Black Coaches too. We are hated because we won so much and we did it in a beautiful place. We were pasting their teams in short sleeve weather while they were bundling up every time they went outside . We turned the game upside down and eliminated 3yds and a cloud of dust offense.
There still is anti UM bias out there for sure, but if we win out we will be in the playoffs .
