The last three weeks we have barely won against a lot of mediocre competition. Our play is not doing us ANY favors to the voters, you know it, I know it, we all know it. I think it does not have anything to do with race.

To be the canes you are thinking we are, we need to dominate each opponent to get the respect we deserve. We aint doin it.

That may be the only way we get there. That’s what this team is right now. Deal with it.

We’re probably not imposing our will on anyone this season, so what if we still win out. We don’t deserve it? Why?

Definitely. They've got Ohio State in there with a loss now. If we both win out, at least during the regular season, are they gonna jump us over them? We beat Syracuse who beat Clemson last week and we dropped in the coaches poll. Don't even get me going on Wisconsin and the Strength of Schedule argument. Ours is ranked 12th, theirs is ranked 59th.

I think he's trying to say some of these other schools have far less diverse student bodies and alumni bases. They also have much bigger student bodies and alumni bases. As a result, UM tends to get **** on by pollsters who want to see us fail.

If there is a racial inequity in the way UM gets treated, it won't be because our players are black. It'll be because our fans and alumni are a lot more colorful than the Penn States and Wisconsins of the world.

Frankly, I think we get screwed more because our fan base is smaller, we have always been brash, and there is a lot of jealousy. So putting down Miami is good for clicks/ratings.

It's a Tony Montada type situation. "Take a good look at the bad guy, because you're never gonna see another one like [us]."
