He’s telling the truth stop acting like he’s race baiting . He’s telling facts nobody wants Miami @ the Top but it’s not gong matter what people want when these top kids start staying home . College football was scared of this happening if we got a solid coach .

I honestly could see herbstreit trying to justify on espn if Miami went undefeated how a 1 loss big 10 team should take our playoff spot .

Definitely. They've got Ohio State in there with a loss now. If we both win out, at least during the regular season, are they gonna jump us over them? We beat Syracuse who beat Clemson last week and we dropped in the coaches poll. Don't even get me going on Wisconsin and the Strength of Schedule argument. Ours is ranked 12th, theirs is ranked 59th.

Polls are difficult to predict because they are subjective.

We were rising in the polls earlier in the year without playing any games due to the Hurricane and teams losing in front of us.
So it goes both ways.

It's that Big 10 facquit nerd redneck farmer midwest ****, brother.

They ate that Big 10 goo all last year. Then, Clemson went out there and busted copious nuts in Ohio Taint's eyes. Now, they're all right back on that Big 10 nut again even after they proved what a fraud they were last year. Sad ****.
 
All week they had us on upset alert. So we win and they say they aren't impressed and drop us. It's definitely a Miami thing.

I remember in 2004 when we beat ranked Louisville at home on a Devon Hester kick return. The next day we dropped in the polls and Louisville moved up. I doubt that has ever happened any other time in the history of the game.

His heart is in the right place I think. He used a race analogy and it instantly ****ed people off. He was putting all Canes in the same boat, regardless of race and he didn't mean it the way some took it but race is a sensitive thing.

I get mad too when everything is blanket attributed to race as I see things case by case and try to look at individuals on their own merits. Had he substituted "red-headed stepchild" for "black kid at an all white party" no one would've reacted this way and that essentially was all he was saying. He's right about that.
