Fak DABO!
I will be in Jerry World this time next week. I was guilty of wanting a young QB to grab the bull by the horns (Texas trip coming, sorry) but it didn't happen. I'm here in South Carolina, and I get a lot of Clemson **** needless to say. Kelly Bryant had his career best game against Manny. I remember a 3rd and 16 I was saying we getting ball back, we didn't, he completed a first down throw. Not doing a trivia question, but I looked at the playoff QB's. Mayfield was an absolute monster, but look at the other 3, we not too far behind. (I'm sure Hurts and Bryant had some rushing numbers, but this is about decision making and arm, hit the open man Malik!)
Att Comp Pct Yds Yds/Att TD INT QBR Att/G Yds/G
415 224 54.0 3120 7.5 26 14 131.05 31.9 240.0 (Malik)
398 262 65.8 2802 7.0 13 8 131.73 28.4 200.1 (Bryant)
254 154 60.6 2081 8.2 17 1 150.75 18.1 148.6 (Hurts)
291 181 62.2 2615 9.0 24 7 160.09 19.4 174.3 (Fromm)
404 285 70.5 4627 11.5 43 6 198.92 28.9 330.5 (Mayfield Heisman winner)
I am gonna always support my team, took me 3 years to give up on fat Al , but I swear although I am feeling like the QB needs to get a lil better, man IF we lose to Orgeron, it's the coaches more than the players. I am not going all in, because I can't living so close to "Daybo". But I am definitely "fully involved!" Go Canes! See you in Dallas!

Crap, sorry too tuff to read, trust me, only Mayfield was head and shoulders better than Malik of the final 4. Fromm was better, but not close to attempts. Hurts been twice, and Bryant was no better either. It's the rest of the squad and Coaching! Ok, I feel better now, we don't have a heisman Qb, but we got a team! Best team in history didn't have a heisman QB either, JS

He was a heisman finalist though

Here is my thought/hope on Malik. First off...the kid is a gamer. I don’t think anyone doubts his competitive fire or ability to focus at times. What I have doubted is his accuracy and self-discipline. I saw a lot of success come his way fast. It would have been a lot for me to deal with at that age and I think his discipline wavered at times over his first four years here. Hopefully Richt and the rest of those with juice in our program have convinced him that the sky is the limit for this team and only he can navigate us safely through 13 games. I personally think he has the physical and mental abilities to get us there, but he’s gotta buy in 24/7 and live right through this season. The quality of this team is unmatched for the last 15 years...LET’s GO.

Sorry, Meth must be worse than coke. Malik was as good as 75% of the final 4 QB's . Sorry I got complicated. I see now, that was easier.

Hey op you know your supposed to eat collard greens. Not smoke em. :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg:
I lived in Lexington school 91-02 w when I first got there they were all talking smack usc.which when I heard it I asked why do you guys support a team on the west coast and not a team here on the east coast.someone said usc stands for the gamecock.I told them where I'm from if you say usc the Trojans are we think aka California not south Carolina.

OK. You not helping. You were at Lexington High (Summers was good) for 12 freaking years? The rest I understand. All I was saying was Malik not our best ever. but he was as good as 3/4 that was there last year. That's all. I tried to bring the stats too. Instead of going LSU newby on here.

He has some points. I do worry that we gave a few QBs their career highlights and Rosier is not the guy. I will be surprised if he is the QB come bowl time. I hope I am surprised.

read the post I lived there for 12 yrs .I was working at ft Jackson.I was 25 yrs old when I was there.I great a educated he in 83 but not in school.

Crazy thought: if we could run maybe Rosier wouldn't have to throw 117 times per game. There's no reason that we should be throwing more than a coach with a Heisman winner to work with.

Rosier needs to improve his accuracy no doubt, but the OL needs to run block better to take some pressure off him. Run for 4 yds on first, run for a first on 3rd and 2, run it in from the 4yd line...small improvements by the OL and Rosier put us in the playoff.

Exactly. I get tired of people rattling off about teams like Pitt or Virginia loading the box and taking away the run...******* Pitt. If you think their defensive scheme had more to do with our RBs gaining 39 yards against UNC and 16 yards against Pitt than our overall effort and lack of physicality at the point of attack...
