I worry for Poppa Shaq

First off thanks for your contributions to the board. The insight you gave into the recruitment of your son to all the little tidbits of information you shared when you didn't have to, I personally want to thank u and wish Shaq and ur family health and happiness.

With that being said I hope u make the decision to stop posting or leave the board altogether. I say that because heaven forbid Shaq does not live up to the expectations of the experts on this board, or if Richt bombs, this place will turn on u and ur your son quicker than a hiccup. I don't see any upside in you staying on the boards interacting with us fans. This place can be toxic when things go south and I personally would hate to see u put in a position where u have to defend Shaq from an onslaught of personal insults.

You seem to be an educated well spoken and responsible man so I know you don't need some stranger on a message board telling u what to do and how to do it. I just harken back to stories about how Kyle Wrights parents were treated, and other similar examples and I hope u and Shaq are never subjected to that kind of vitriol.

I'm sure he's more than capable of dealing with whatever the dorks here say about his kid or someone else's on the team. Even the worst performer in uniform has done something 95 percent plus of the board plus couldn't accomplish, get a division one scholarship. There's talking about a bad performance and then there's being just downright disrespectful....which a lot of posters are.
 
He's a fan. He should post away! His son is gonna be just fine. Real fans will support no matter what. Kid is a stud.

His son just earned a full ride to a major university where he can earn a meaningful degree. He doesn't give two ***** about some posters. He's super proud of his son regardless of what happens with his football career.

Please ignore this post Poppa Shaq. We value your contributions on this board. You bring more to this board than a lot of staff writers and it is greatly appreciated.
 
Thought the same thing as OP. WIth all the *** tards on this board. Should at least get a 2nd screen name.
