I watched an Ahmmon Richards highlight on IG and said this is what we need JO JO to be as a first time starter.

Has nothing to do with winning a Super Bowl.
He’s living in the shadow of his teammate just like others have and that’s not a big deal.
But dudes have been talking about him balling and making last year’s sorry secondary look silly as if it was some sort of accomplishment.

You’re saying “the best version of himself” and what exactly do you mean? The best version of Mark Pope was at a marathon gas station.
Yea, he doesn’t need to be J Smith. But he better be the best dammm receiver on the team.

Let’s stop crowning recruits and players that haven’t done anything.
We don’t know what he is, but NO WAY HE TURNS OUT TO BE POPE. We gotta believe that he’s put in the work and is ready for his chance to perform. Show that he is a capable D1 WR and this is why. Those same schools that wanted Jeremiah wanted me as well.

Nah hes not AR, AR had deadly get off and speed. Ya'll tripping he is a different type of WR.
I think he is talking about the type of production AR had. And while they are different receivers, that doesn’t mean that Jojo can’t have the same production or even more than AR did his freshman year. JoJo is day one talent, so however he gets the production, doesn’t really matter. As long as he gets it, that’s what matters.

I have a feeling that Jo Jo is either a day one pick or a greentree/sofla legend that never panned out.
Hope he doesn’t become a recurrent cis thread that we argue about for a decade.

Bottom line is we got the wrong teammate who he will always be compared to.
J Smith will continue to be brought up for at least a decade. Unfortunately for Trader, every time J Smith makes a great catch or goes for 150, or wins a Super Bowl; the name JoJo trader will peek its head in the mind of every cane fan. And it’s unfortunate for the young man.
The only way it doesn’t is if he comes close to being J smith. And that’s not happening.
Hopefully not a Dalvin Cook <> Yearby situation lol

IF trader even goes day 3 it would be the highest draft pick of a WR HS recruit since Berrios went in the 6th in 2018 almost a decade ago. Hes going to be a good player for Miami.

Only ones comparing him to JSmith are this board who are still salty a guy who was commited to OSU since his Sophmore year of HS didnt flip to Miami when his QB was going to be Emroy Williams.

Keep 5 star WRs home and you won't have this problem.

This place sucks, we get a special talent in Trader, but people on here talking J. Smith. Move on
What has he proven at a D1 level that says he is a special talent. I have nothing against the kid. I hope he turns out better than J. Smith. I hope he goes to more Super Bowls and more pro bowls than Smith.

But the fact of the matter is the only thing trader has done at a D1 level is cause controversy amongst the fan base. Now he didn’t cause it, we caused it. But that comes with the territory of being at a P4 program with a lot of expectations.
Maybe it’s just too much cane ptsd. But every daamm year there are players that are said are about to have some ridiculous break through season and have all world talent at green tree that doesn’t produce on Saturdays.
Don’t get upset cause people point out facts. Pointing out the obvious isn’t hate

I have no idea how he will turn out. I know the talent evaluator "experts" all think he's a stud so I'm hoping for it to happen. What I'd like to know is can he lay out a block like Richards wiped out that Nole dude on the sideline. One of the most devastating hits ive ever seen.

And to put things into perspective, we had people that thought Richard was too slow and that his best position should be defensive back. We also had people saying after the first 2 games that he wasn’t that impressive.
So when the experts on here start hyping up a dude that’s already been here a year and hasn’t proven anything, yeah, I tend to be a little skeptical.

I admit I did not think Richard’s was fast at all bruh. Until I saw it in college vs other fast guys. I was like holy **** let me reevaluate and edit posts.

He looked pretty fast in the bowl game vs West Virginia. He ran that long TD into the end zone right in front of us.

Potential is what everyone has seen in practice the JoJo hype needs to stop....kid hasn't done anything in a game to make "everybody" call him great already...what it does is bring negative feedback ....let him play a few games first to see what he brings....
