and I would be very happy with Applewhite as OC. He may not be perfect but he spreads it out goes uptempo attacks downfield AND ADJUSTS TO HIS PERSONNEL!
His QB was meh as a thrower but a good runner so he ran a lot of screens and read options with motion to help his QB. They also ran some reverses and ocasional downfield shots. The thing is they could SUSTAIN DRIVES giving their defense rest and letting their quarterback get comfortable. He also wants to put as many points on the board as he can unlike Richt. There were 22 seconds in the half with no timeouts and they were up 18 on their own 30 yard line and they tried to score still.

We dont need the best OC in the world we just need one with the belief that you innovate and attack and change the offense up to fit your personnel. At Miami if you have those qualities you will have success. Look at Diaz for example. He was meh at MSU horrible at UT but since he shares the beliefs of being innovative fast and attacking he had success at Miami.

Richts offense is the opposite of what we will find success with. Slow developing plays and not aggressive playcalls. That works at a place like Notre Dame or Michigan where they have big boy lineman and power backs. We need guys who give the ball to our playmakers and let them loose. With a guy like Fedora Applewhite or many others we will have incredible success. If we get a guy that fits this category mark my words our talent deficiencies will be much more hidden and we will be a top 20 offense NEXT YEAR.

Im not worried about which OC we get because Diaz knows the style we need to play with and if we use that we will have success. If it is any of our options talked about besides Coley I think we will be just fine!!!

Applewhite would be a great hire for Miami if it indeed happens.

They were 6-0 vs ranked teams when he called plays there including 3-0 vs the top ten
They put up
33 vs #3 Oklahoma
38 vs #9 fsu
36 vs #5 Louisville
So the offense is legit against top opponents

Yeah and even if its not amazing he playes the style we want to play here. Diaz didn't have success at a high level until he came here I can see that with Applewhite(who already had some success)

We have to be competitive with the top teams. Stevenson said UGA is the only school that is competitive with BAGA when asked about what he likes about them. If we lose to a team like Clemson it should be like 31-24 or something not 38-3. When we get smacked by top tier teams recuits think of us as a tier 2 team in a way

Since Stefan still hasn't commented on OC after he announced the hiring of him does that mean hes likely going to be the OC???
