Was Pete Carol considered a great X and O guy? I am not being smart, I am honestly not sure. I know he was a defensive guy but can’t remember if he was known particularly as a top X and O guy.

Im not sure he was elite but he had previous NFL HC experience and understood what coaching at that level entailed.
