Exactly. Can't be mad at the guy if his ultimate goal was to be a head coach. I was hard on Manny during the 2017 season but came around on him this season. I can't do anything more than wish him the best and hope for his success.
 
LOL has nothing to do with Richt. Such incredible retards on this board.

Trust me, Diaz will go out of his way to THANK Richt. Manny was in the middle of a cow field 3 years ago making $575k. Richt brought him home, paid him $1M a year, gave him the opportunity to coach elite athletes, and he's now a Head Coach at 44 years old making $2M+ a season, and if he succeeds there, he's going to be a P5 coach in 3 years.

Some of you have literal **** for brains.
 
Well. He can go to Temple and prove he can be a HC then come back to take over Miami in 2 years when Richt gets fired. There has to be a silver lining somewhere.

Diaz had a great opportunity and took it cant be mad at the guy for that. I heard he and many others on the coaching staff have grown weary of Richt and espically Jon Richt who is completely unqualified to be our QB coach. Dark times ahead for our beloved program.......................
 
No need to be mad at Diaz. I'm happy we got him for a few seasons. HC gig was his logical next step.

Love the contributions Diaz had when he came too - turnover chain was his idea, D always played fast/aggressive (complete turnaround vs No'Dfrio), and he brought a ton of passion to the sidelines. Vaya con dios, Manny.

Message boards are not like facebook, ig etc. 99% of posters here have usernames not like IG, facebook where people use their real name.

He just ran one of our best defenses in program history.
He gave the program life with his scheme, all the takeaways, and the turnover chain.
He visibly was frustrated with how bad Richt’s offense was.
He got a chance to take a HC position and make $ while escaping a sinking ship.


As the elderly black community says, “I ain’t mad at ya.” He did the right thing.
 
Why do you want to be mad at him? He took what is clearly an upward move in his career and did **** well for us while he was here. I don't understand why anyone could even be slightly upset.

Because the people you're trying to analyze have a room temperature IQ. No one with a brain is upset with him. The guy who changes your oil for a living is.
 
It’s retarded to get mad at any coordinator who takes a HC gig at a program that has propelled its last 4 HCs to P5 HC gigs quickly.
