I used to hate Ohio St

This is weird to me.. unlike FSU, UF or ND, OSU has never been a rival of Miami’s. We lost one game to them on some bull**** call and that about sums up the history.

I think you guys are giving them way too much credit and energy, saying that you hate them this much and putting them alongside teams like FSU and ND, who are true rivals.
 
My wife is a Buckeye. I have to be less vitriolic toward them to maintain a reasonable marriage. I still hate them and relish in their misery but I just hide it. In 11 days I may get divorced. Go Canes!

LOL :nelson-haha: my sister and all of her family are Buckeye fans. It’s painful. I hope we beat the brakes off them.

Their fans talk a lot of **** and they are as arrogant as Bama fans. Plus the championship loss stings still because we were cheated. And a lot of south Florida elite players go there.

They're probably the toughest team we will face. Their defense is insane. But their offense has been relatively mid given having Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate.

If we win on December 31st, I'm not scared of what's left. Even Indiana - because we'd face them in Hard Rock in the National Championship game in what is essentially a home game.

Not only were they gifted our 6th National Championship by their bought and paid for ref (Terry Porter), but they’ve been talking smack about that tainted win for years.

To add to that, our programs took totally different turns after that for the next 2 decades. I still remember our dudes crying on that field and in utter shock. I couldn’t sleep for days. That was the biggest sports robbery of all-time.

Then to add insult to injury, they’ve been coming into our turf and stealing top 5-Star recruits for years.

I'm aware. But our failure to be elite since that time is squarely ON US, not anything to do with those lames. We shouldn't be attaching our struggles to anything they did. Like I said, we hardly ever play them.
