ChefCane (Federer's agent) and then you also had RandomWalk who used to fly around on a private jet and give insider posts. I still remember being a student logging on and some guy called FUFSU posting that Butch Davis was leaving for the NFL and sure enough, 2 hours later the news broke. Good times.

Grassy.com (Brian Knoll). It was cryptic, but so much fun. Musta started with about 20 people. Rikki Sixx, Augie Dog, The Celibate Seven - having get togethers before games, etc..

Especially funny was you could post anonymously with whatever username you wanted so you would have people posting as Larry Coker, Michael Irvin, etc.. lol

Every time I hear Rutgers mentioned, I always think of that dude StillLaughingAtRutgers and it cracks me up for some reason. I wonder where some of those folks like Auggie (Crown Royal pre-game) and Terd are these days?

Very weird, a thread 17 years ago has that affect.. The ability to make a living online still hard for many to wrap their head around but the power is crazy. Look at @DMoney , i feel like for years I was telling them to upload the podcast on youtube and now they are leaning into it and now on tv.. lol

I am also from the grassy days. I remember you and have been lurking in pain for years. I remember the shock as our program collapsed under Shalala and Shannon. Let’s enjoy this run brother! Been a long time

I stumbled upon Grassy my freshman year at college in one of the common area computer labs (hadn't had access to a computer before then), enjoyed the whole recruiting part of the sport, and have been hooked since. I never expected to be around long so the username wasn't important a the time....had i known, i would have put a little effort into it! haha Little did i know how much time of my life it was going to take over!

I snooped around Shadow's board for a while under a different name, but mostly Grassy and here, so i recognize a lot of OGs.

random thought: after we stomped ohio state by running it up their belly, BuckeyesTDTrenchessomething-or-other came into my head. the schtick account that would post misspelled sentences about "lunch pail blue collar trenches work ethic" that steadily devolved into unreadable gibberish. i remember him appearing at some point in the last 15 years or so, so it was after grassy/scout. was that on this board, or was that shadow's board, or WEZ? did he ever make it here?
