Football is more important than **** SNAP payments!

Part of a coaches salary may be state funded.
It was literally “PRESS CONFERENCE ON SNAP FUNDING”. As far as his comments being “calculated”, he was dead wrong about the agents.
LSU having, of course, the AD who hired Fisher as well as knowing Fisher as the former OC.Fisher was 45-25 in six seasons at Texas A&M, and he signed a new 10-year contract with $95 million guaranteed in 2021. That deal was given, in part, because of the potential at the time of Fisher leaving for LSU.
But I used to think Jimbo Fisher was a great coach, too, after he won a national championship at Florida State, bolted to Texas A&M and had the Aggies ranked No. 4 in the country at the end of the 2020 season with one of the top recruiting classes in the country.
That’s when then-Texas A&M AD Ross Bjork idiotically gave Fisher a raise to $9 million a year and extended his original 10-year, $75 million contract four more years through the 2031 season. Consequently, after Jimbo was fired in November, the Aggies were forced to pay him $77 million over the next eight years NOT to coach at Texas A&M.
This isn't a politics issue per se...but people who hold those roles are now getting sucked in by a force greater than Adriana Chechik can muster.Keep politics out of sports....that's until you like the politician or political position that is.
I've been saying this for a long time now...
**** off one politician...meh
**** off two...are you ******* stupid?
**** off three+? They will write songs about what was done to you and sing them 10,000 years from now...
Prepare for the 500,000 ft screwdriver in the *** to start turning...
It will take time, but make no mistake, torque and pressure are getting applied...
Something about a big screwdriver being turned in some ***... I dunno. Strange content.
He de facto fired the AD and called him a mongoloid.Wild stuff to follow. Does the governor have to step in like this when the state flagship school is making bad financial decisions? Maybe but man, to publicly call out the AD and say he won’t be making the hire is wild stuff. The whole state is bad enough (last in virtually every major indicator) but this press conference is chef’s kiss
Landry sits on the Tiger Foundation Board and has for a lot of years….why is the governor picking a football coach?
Louisiana has a history of “ The Guvna” hiring the coach at LSU. Huey Long was in volved in the hiring of the coach at LSU in 1934 when he got Bill Jones to “ resign” and hired Bernie Moore. So yeah Louisiana has a history.why is the governor picking a football coach?
figures as much. dumbass state with misplaced priorities. they should focus on getting their population healthy.Louisiana has a history of “ The Guvna” hiring the coach at LSU. Ah, thank you for clarifying. Who reps Lane Kiffen? Is it Sexton? I thought that maybe that could have been what he was co fused on since he is probably their targetPer the Orlando Sentinel, Jimmy Sexton used to rep 11 outta 14 SEC schools’ head coaches and Wikipedia has him at 14 outta 16 of the SEC’s head coaches; including Jimbo Fisher.
Garnacho is correct — Kelly’s agent is not Jimmy Sexton; however, the governor is right in that it’s Trace Armstrong who reps both Kelly and reps LSU’s quarterback (and I’d assume he reps the quarterback’s dad who is the Saints OC although i couldn’t confirm that).
Woodward is also getting some undue blame from his time at A&M; although he landed the big fish in Jimbo, gigantic buyout included; it was his successor, Ross Bjork who gave him a raise.

Ross Bjork is now the AD at Ohio State.
