I agree. Mario typically runs almost exclusively in the red zone with a big lead. But they kept throwing it today. I think he wanted to leave absolutely no doubt today.

Agreed, but what’s the point of recruiting a ranked QB. I have asked this question for years, all I get back is well Dawson is also a QB coach. Question.. when was the last time Dawson developed a recruit on this team. Why not invest in a WB coach that actually works to develop these kids and not an OC, treating it as a side hustle. Yes, it’s not the 90’s or WTF ever. So step up to CFB now and hire a specialist to develop these kids you recruit or just f**k it and let someone else at a lower level do it and poach them as needed.

Then why play him, Play Coleman. And what happened to developing a QB. Nickel was the best QB in Ga. Why even bring him on. They saw something in him. Player development is a Red headed stepchild to reaching into the portal. The portal allows you to have someone else develop y’all’s QB. Again , why recruit if yall don’t invest the time, coaching and significant reps on a kid YOU recruited. Seems counterintuitive and counterproductive. Just ssyin’

Because you cant leave any rock left unturned when it comes to talent acquisition. What people have to wrap their head around is that every player on the team has to be re-recruited at the end of each season because they all can enter the portal. So in a wierd way the whole team is portal players or re-signed free agents
