I think we need UVA over UNC

VT is playing and I would not put it past UVA to take the pipe. That said, Miami is not ready for Clemson.

Clemson is the ACC’s chance at a playoff team. The bag job would be blatant. Laundry would be all over the yard.

If UNC wins then we most likely need a 3-4 team tie.

If UVA wins then we need them to lose to Va Tech and that would be the only chance.

UNC is still at Pitt and at nc state

I think it’s better if UVA loses tonight and hope UNC loses at Pitt for the several team tie.

Very unlikely that Miami wins it outright

We need a UNC win over UVA and loss to NC ST or VT, A VT loss to UVA and Wake, A Pitt Loss, and to win out. I think...

I don't think UVA has beaten VT in the last 15 meetings or so. Tech always has their number.

Can they both lose? ... If we somehow get to the ACCCG, that would be pretty cool considering our rough start. tbh, I just want to win our last 3 games and whatever bowl game we go to. 9-4 with a 6 game winning streak would set us up for a great recruiting class with momentum going into 2020. I don't think we keep our win streak if we face Clemson in the ACCCG.

You kiddin? We just beat the Noles in Tally.

We would maul Clemson if we played them.

Who cares if we're ready? It's an extra 60 minutes we get to see of this team before a bowl and an offseason--and a chance to take out the #1 team in the ACC for bragging/recruiting rights. I'll take those minutes.

Good point. Noted. Maybe they battle and fight for 60. That would be a massive positive. My fear would be the potential for a clubbing and a flag fest. Canes PTSD on my part.

One more further point to take what I say at this moment with a large grain of salt.... after the GT game I had the iron hot to burn my ink off and never watch football again. Thank goodness they won today.

It's very unlikely.

For Virginia to finish 5-3, it likely means they lose to VT. So that probably means VT is 5-3 and they win the tiebreaker. And if VT is instead 4-4 with a win over Virginia, then they must have lost to Pitt and then Pitt might be 6-2.

So need to win out and root for big upsets like GT over UVA and VT, BC over Pitt, etc. Unlikely.
