It depends on their angle. If they decide to treat Miami like a big boy school now that we have hired a real coach, and aren't playing in a dump, then they might come. If they want to continue their "Miami lacks facilities and game day environment" spin, they will stay away no matter what.

Before posting this, have you looked at Texas schedule? They open with Notre Dame, and they play Cal and Oklahoma State on the road before playing Oklahoma.

They maybe playing all these games with a true freshman QB. Unless they are undefeated, they won't be getting gameday.

Where would they put the set? Not in the stadium parking lot, **** won't be open until 3pm. In Coral Gables? No one going to the game would drive down there for that. They'd have to rely on UM students. Would be a terrible atmosphere.

You do know that Gameday opens the season in Jerry World every year right? That's a neutral site game, and they have no problem drawing a crowd for that right? I highly doubt that they can't get some dudes that will be tailgating, and some students that are will to get up, so they can be on tv.

You don't have to worry about it being a noon game. Oklahoma and Texas play at noon on ABC every year, and no way will ESPN have our game competing with that game for rating.

I think OP is right. I have been planning a trip down for this game and I was talking about this with some friends. I believe we will be the game of the week. Which would be great so we can tailgate longer and enjoy the day before beating that *** into the ground!

To be honest, I can see Miami as one of the favorites, since Herbstreit will be doing the game. Last year, Herbstreit and Fowler did our game in primetime, and Nessler and Blackledge did OU vs Texas.
