I think this is a breakthrough game

Karma the stars are finally aligning. No really this is a very young team something that will bring value down the road.

D had more pep in the step. That was good to see. Manny factor w/D help with that? IDK.

PLEASE no more arguments about how young we are 6 games in although I'm hoping the youth factor is big part of OL absence on many plays and this suckage won't be here after this season (get in gun more BTW)

We showed improvement on DL and a new kicker that looks like he's 15 years old. We stunk in every other category. Gave up sacks and are putrid on 3 downs on both O and D. Receivers drop balls. A QB that can't time anything past 10 yards in the air. This is a badly coached team period.

Not ready to call this a turning point yet. We need to beat GT and Pitt before we meet FSU. If we beat those 3..I would say we have turned the corner going into that home game against UL. I think this team would be ultra confident and settled in.

You would rather have a pretty loss?

Just in reference to any significant turning point... nothing has changed.
Same sh1tty game plan, same turnstile OL, however we won. That's good.

Doesn't change the fact that we are no where closer to the top teams as in the last 3 years..

Manny can bail water for the next 6 games but he needs to flush half of his coaching staff for any significant improvements. I hope he has the brass to do that.

I Expect Every game to be a nail biter. We are just too inconsistent in terms of play, coarching, scheme (or as Manuelo puts it...el plan), and discipline. The one area we are consistent in is fabricated swag, innovative trinkets, and out thinking ourselves in terms of offensive & defensive play calling.

Just play fuggin ball! Go Canes!

hopeful you're right in regards to the Oline and penalties...OL is young and w 6 games under the freshmans belts this could be a good step in the right direction

When I see us win consistently with a good offense and defense for the rest of the season I may believe we are starting to turn it around. Offense against Va was overall horrible. 3 decent drives the whole game is no where close to turning point

Predicting a turning point in regards to close games that got away. Learning how to win and having the stamina to stay ahead the whole game is a sign of maturity. Russeau is the example of that youth emerging. I truly think Enos did a better job of calling a good mix better than last week because that was all N'kosi. Sometimes you have to look at little things like better gap filling on defense I think the Dline found it's footing. We shall see. Early Summer I predicted and posted a
Thread Nkosi to start he simply had more experience and a better arm that is turning out correct. We shall see but I feel really good. This Summer I knew we would struggle we had to replace 7 starters on defense alone. People had way too high expectations.
