Baring a total collapse, which I do not see happening or bad Coordinator hires in the future, he is going to be hard to push out of The U. So far from what he has done, I am looking forward to him being here at least for the next 10 years. We'll see where we are at. If we have a Natty, he is locked in as long as he wants to be.
What do you guys think? Looking forward to the next 10 yrs. with Mario of do you think something will change and he will be gone in 10 or less?
Thanks for your opinions!!

It is all results oriented - and consistent results. Look at college football - it has become what Miami has been since the Schnelly era. It is the same as pro ball now. All is based on results. The amount of money needed to compete is so great, there need to be results. Even winning a NC doesn't make a coach untouchable for life - Mack Brown, Gene Chizik, and Coach O are examples.

As long as the Canes don't have 2 seasons in a row of 4 or more losses, Mario is probably safe.

As long as Miami provides the $$$ for Mario himself, for Mario to have a top-notch staff, and get the players he needs, Mario will stay. I don't see Mario hanging around if that should change.

Thought the same… probably be even more maniacal once his kids are adults. His wife will have to come to the IPF to see him.
