I think Golden is officially done!

At this point I just want someone new. I dont care if its Cristobal or Mark Stoops or Jerry Kill from Minnesota. Just not Golden. Not anymore, I can't handle these pathetic performances anymore.

I'm trying to remember how I felt right before Coker & Shannon got fired. I think this unfortunately feels a bit different, but I don't remember exactly. Hopefully Pitt kicks our teeth in.
 
He isnt done he will be back if he dont fire that piece of **** coley than you knkw what i hope he doesnt come back time for golden to lay the hammer down

No way ANYONE shows up for a single game next season if this staff stays on for another season. This program HAS to be losing money like crazy already. Something will happen because even this abominably run university can't afford much more of this ****show. I'd rather see the program shut down than watch this ****ing mess another **** year. What is the point of having a football team if it continues to be this same damned mess?
 
Forget the buyout. Like someone just said, this program must be hemorrhaging money. Firing Golden and making a smart hire will no doubt cost money up front but a great hire would pay for itself relatively quickly.

We could pay the buyout and pay a Mark Stoops 5mil a year and if Stoops is the guy we think he might be then the university makes that money back.

If this administration is tight fisted and shortsighted enough to maintain the status quo then they will lose millions more next season as fanbase apathy soars to new and previously unheard of heights. If the powers that be were annoyed with the banners, just wait until there is a full blown boycott of the program by the fans. If Golden is retained, a boycott would be the only logical course of action for us to make our disgust clear and force the BOT to take the necessary action.

The money thing is vastly overblown. First of all his buyout would likely be negotiated down. Second of all, the dude will easily get hired as a HC at a smaller school, which means the buyout goes bye bye. Third, the buyout at most is a few million, which is a drop in the bucket
 
He's not going anywhere. There's no appetite from the people that matter to make a change. I'm sure a couple of high levels cats are done with AG, but only a small number of them.

I'm hoping the combination of fan demands, lack of attendance, media pressure, former players, students, boosters, some administration members and his record will be enough to get him fired. Please! Please! Please!

I just find it hard to believe that Shalala will pull the trigger heading out. The Football coach is the highest paid employee for any President and I just don't see them putting this on the new president.

It would be a whole lot worse leaving the new president with a football team that has zero support in the community. Shalala's gift for the new pres should be raising the buyout money and giving hope to everyone.

Is this from personal knowledge or just guessing? If it's guessing why would they keep Golden when they were able to stomach firing an alum in Shannon who performed about the same in 4 years??? If it's personal knowledge, well that sucks a big one...
