want out of Miami and are doing this **** on purpose!!! He just said again for the second time that they were in a 9 man front!.

Al is very prideful. It would not be hard to force him to quit. Fire Mark in an extremely humiliating manner -- like on the sideline in middle of a game with TV camera on it. Then AD can star talking crap about Al, psu heritage, his historically horrible defensive scheme. Start opening talking about and to Chud, Gregg and Butch. Turn the electric off in his office. There are a host of things that can be done to force him out. Give away tomatoes at the games as "heathly" alternative foods and TRUST the fan to know what to do. Flood the sideline with ALL our former players for each game and TRUST them to know what to do. The AD invite some of staff -- Ice, Art and former players to dinner a couple times a week without Al and his boys. He can be forced out. The problem probably is that the administration is just friggin fine with him.

No he isn't. A prideful man wouldn't sit there like a fat Muppet blaming players while his team gets eviscerated every time we play an even remotely decent team.

If they want to fire Golden, just fire him. Ok, you have to pay a buyout. It's a big boy decision. Just do it.
 
Calm down people .Nothing will happen during the season. Its not likely Al throws Donofrio to the curb to keep his job. If James fires Donofrio I believe Al will quit. Thats the best scenario but does James have the balls to do it?

al wouldn't quit except to take another job which he isn't getting. why would anyone walk away from the contract he has to prove a point???
 
I truly never believed there could be a worse division 1 head coach than Randy. Boy was I wrong.

How can one school pick the two worst coaches in D1 back to back? What are the odds of such an epic fail?

James isn't firing anyone. It's not in him to do it, firstly, and James is telling boosters that the Athletic Department believes in Al and that the team is going in the right direction.
 
You cats are reaching. So AG is willing to ruin his career forever to sandbag UM and force a buyout? I don't believe that at all. If he sucks at UM no other decent school will even consider him.

The answer is simpler than that. Golden is just a bad coach in way over his head.
 
That may be the play book, force him to fire Coach D and hopefully he takes the bait.

Randy Shannon was actually a good coach, maybe not a good head coach, but he knew how to run a Defense. Golden is just clueless.

If that was the case why not just stop recruiting as well? I don't think its anything more than him just being an incredibly ****** coach.
