(I think) Corey Gaynor (is exceptional)

Lots of issues, but don’t think it’s bad as some people are making it seem. The biggest issue I saw is something I’ll write about later this week when the depression goes away. I still can’t believe they rolled out that Tackle combination. Been saying that since the podcast. Fantasy land approach.

I previously suggested Scaife at LT, with Reed inside. Not perfect, but had to be better.

Yep. Have said it over and over. I deferred because I didn’t get to see fall practices this year, but the simplest logic prevailed: play the ****** halfway competent guy over the guy who may be really good later on. I mean, could have taken the next few games or season.

Yep. The obvious over the hopeful delusion of grandeur. Maybe this time it’ll be different. Said every year around this program since Coker was here.

And with a frosh qb starting his first game, how did we leave him with an unprepared LT? That is on the staff. What scares the **** out of me is they are supposed to know what they see. Maybe our staff is as delusional as our fans? I sure hope not. But then, how did they talk themselves into starting a kid at LT against Florida whose HS class graduated 2 months ago, had no other major college fooball scholarship offers, and weighted 235 lbs less than a year ago? Is this real life?

Even Laremy Tunsil didn’t play left tackle the first several games of his college career at Ole Miss. Zion just wasn’t ready and that’s not his fault. Without seeing any practices I trusted the coaching staff which turned out they made a mistake.
