I for one believe there is no real plan and it wouldn't shock me if TVD considers his options if the school is being lackadaisical with communication and strategy. If you think about it our school seems content to let the AD make decisions as it relates to coaching personnel changes and we currently have no AD. I have no issue with it but at this point they better be working on a sound and very big AD hire if they have been batting this around since the MSU game.

Now I think TVD would stay based on how he decided to come here despite Enos being fired. I just can't imagine what strategy we have in place currently other than "amature hour". Looks can be deceiving and I hope I am wrong but history tells me otherwise....

Relax!!! Everything will unfold in time. I expect the new AD to be named in the next week. Diaz being let go should follow a week later so that a new coach can get started on recruiting and salvaging the 2022 class.

The biggest issue with firing Diaz given Lashlee's on the way out is that Diaz is also the DC. We'll need an interim HC, OC, and DC. Likens as interim OC, TRob as interim DC, and Hickson as interim HC.
 
I saw a couple years ago SMU got a highly rated QB recruit out of Dallas. I'm sure that's a big reason Lashlee took that job just like TVD is a big reason Kiffin is taking this one.

TVD stayed with Miami despite never getting to have a single practice with the guy who recruited him. He’s definitely not leaving now. Especially since the waiver for having to sit out a year will be over.

There's always a decision to be made. In particular when there is likely to be a new head coach and for sure new OC. Players have followed coaches elsewhere and I'm sure there's people in his ear from other schools since he's looked good.

Nothing to worry about, why worry about this crap? The dust will settle and every player on the team will evaluate their position on it as the new coaching elements sell them on their vision and plan.

Anything else personal to add? You want to go there, I'm fine with that, but it needs to be greenlit by the powers that be.

Of course, hypothetical, duh.

Listen, you can't open your trap without making it personal. It's you and what you do. It's why you've been warned in previous threads, publicly at that. It's also why I have gotten a PM from a mod to just let it go, that's just who you are.
