Alright guys, I’ve got two kids under 4, and sleep is precious, can someone spill the beans on what the two potential moves are that I’ve been hearing about

I can’t think of a better bourbon in that price point. 40-60$ range I would go...

OF 1920
Stagg Jr
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
EH Taylor Small Batch
Weller Antique
OF 1910
1792 Sweet Wheat
Jefferson’s Ocean
Angels Envy
Blantons
Russell’s Reserve 10 year
Eagle Rare
That's a fantastic list . The EH Taylor has ballooned up in my area , used to get it for$48 (last January ) and now it's $90 if I'm lucky. Great bourbon.
One that belongs on that list is the McKenna 10 . Never had 1792 sweet wheat but the 1792 full proof is delicious after it opens up a bit and around $50 my way .

You like Booker's?

Spent the weekend in Gatlinburg. Just a tourist trap but it’s come a long way for people like me that like to hang out and drink a beer.

Personally, I absolutely hate knoxville. It wouldn’t be a terrible place to live.. because the outskirts are nice. But the city is a dump, always under construction, traffic sucks, meth and coke everywhere, and there’s really not a lot to do.

We may be derailing the thread but idc
Sad to hear that. I was born in Ft Lauderdale and actually love living in Knoxville. Look me up some time you’re in town.

Can’t believe I left McKenna 10 off that list. It would be around Weller Antique on my list. Yeah I like some Bookers for sure. I have the first couple of chapters of Little Book unopened right now. Don’t know if I will pop the cork on them or not.

Corbin is my guess as well....

Im still shocked he didn’t leave last year and squeeze him this class like we did with Jarrin Williams the tackle

He would have brought so much stability to the WR room until Harley had the light bulb go off mid season and we would have been humming with two legit WRs
He had matters of his own to handle.

I’ll add to this OT thread.....wifey and I just had our 3rd boy a couple hours ago. Took 3 weeks off from work so looking forward to binging some shows.

Finished Mandalorian S2, Cobra Kai S3, and The Boys S2 (******* awesome series).

Started watching Your Honor (Brian Cranston from Breaking Bad) and it’s pretty **** good, but only get one episode a week. Started the final season of Vikings last night.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
Queen's Gambit was great. Industry on HBO was good too. A little OD on ***/drugs/party scenes, in typical HBO fashion.

Since we’ve already derailed it...

Give me some suggestions on sipping whiskey, bourbon, scotch, etc below $100.. or even better $50

Need to rebuild my stash. The Oklahoma state game made me finish 4 of my bottles that were about 1/4 full.
Bit late to the party, Macallan Gold Double cask is my preferred scotch at the moment. Smooth sip, great to share with over a cigar or while entertaining. Grandfather and I drink it to celebrate and such

Good to see everyone enjoying the taste of quality alcohol.

Under $100 the best bourbon out there , bar none, is Elijah Craig Barrel proof. I like peated scotch so Ardbeg An OA is very good . As an everyday sipper that Buffalo Trace is undefeated. Another great bourbon at bargain price is Rare Breed ($45-50)
That Elijah Craig is the truth. Got put on it 4 years ago by my buddy who is a chef. Always keep one in my house.

If you’re bored look up the Randy Moss story flying into the Bristol, TN airport when he was supposed to be in Bristol, CT at ESPN.

Even funnier if you’ve been to the airport in Bristol, TN (Blountville but same thing)
That is funny @JayCane20, been to Bristol (through Blountville) many times for NASCAR races (late 80's-2000). Quite going when NASCAR turned to ****. Beautiful area around there.

Bourbon
Eagle Rare (dude from KY introduced me to this)
Basil Hayden’s (bit more expensive)
Blanton’s (most expensive, best bang for your buck)

Single Malt
Macallan 12 Double Cask
Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 (aged in sherry oak, delicious)
Lagavulin 16 (smoky/peaty AF but with a cigar, it’s elite)
Love me some Basil

Congratulations!

If you have Amazon Prime, check out Bosch. There are 6 seasons and it's one of the best shows I've seen in a long, long time.
