Lived a good number of years in Kentucky and my parents are outside Lexington so Ive got my Bourbon Trail Passport nearly filled out.

Four Roses Single Barrel as one poster above mentioned is good. Oddly, I prefer the less expensive Four Roses Small Batch. I would also recommend Buffalo Trace, Evan Williams Single Barrel, and Woodford Reserve. All in the 35-50 range.

The liquor store my wife bought at is a former business partner of mine and he said he could have got me a 20 for $2000 if he knew I wanted it. I guess it was their 2020 release. I’ve not been too familiar with it until about June this year and it was too late

Any except Special Reserve as far as super scarce . The poor man's pappy is actually supposed to be a mix of Weller 12 and Weller 107 . They also came out with Weller full proof which I refused to pay $500 for but I heard it's great .

Folks in Ohio can get stuff like Weller Special Reserve or Antique for $30 all the time. Eagle Rare usually retails under $50 if you can snag it. People love Blanton’s if they can’t find it.

I miss when Weller was $15 and Blantons was $30 and sat on shelves

My man.. I’m sitting with B518 at 133.4, B520 at 127.2 and A120 at 136.6..

and if I ran into another one tomorrow I’d probably grab it

This. I can't remember the backstory, but the 2 distilleries are connected (pappy & weller). Weller is the poor man's Pappy.
