Under $100 the best bourbon out there , bar none, is Elijah Craig Barrel proof. I like pleated scotch so Ardbeg An OA is very good . As an everyday sipper that Buffalo Trace is undefeated. Another great bourbon at bargain price is Rare Breed ($45-50)

If you can find an Elijah Craig barrel proof from one of their barrel programs, that's a good one.

I used to manage a liquor store and we got a good amount one year. The 12 went for $95 and that's the cheapest I've seen. 12 isn't all that though. 15 is my favorite for the price.

Brp you're lucky you got a 12 honestly. It's still good. If you ever get a chance get a 15. I tried them all and that was my favorite for the price.

College roommate up here in MA came from a middle eastern oil family that had more money than they knew what to do with. Father was a HUGE Bourbon guy and for graduation he got his three sons each a bottle of 05 Gold Wax 23 Year Old Pappy Van Winkle. Two of the sons were unimpressed to say the least because they hated Bourbon so they gave me their two bottles. Couldn’t believe it. Drank one bottle that night and drank the other the night I got married lol. Still chasing that dragon as the best Bourbon I’ve ever had.
