Because the player would be reuiniting with a former coach. If a player isn't involved, why did Cribby tell us to watch the Portal? It has to involve a player who had not entered the portal at the time Cribby posted earlier today.

Cribby said "watch" the portal not "check" the portal. It implies somebody who as of earlier today had not yet entered the portal but would do so shortly.

With that said, it's a good guess because Bolden is coming back (that's the first part that is done) and Brevin may announce he is staying (that is the second part that will be announced shortly) and then the USC LB transfers and all 3 are reunited.
