Guy is a small step above Jeff Bowden.

If Jimbo leaves, Petrino is their HC. That would be bad for us.

(of course, we can't stay on the field with his teams, but it is nice to see them suck against others)

EJ Manual was the reason they were a two loss team this season. Guy is just above Logan Thomas. That was a mismatch against the UF defense, which has been stellar all season. What was shocking in the game was UF moving the ball at will against the FSU defense and they held the ball seemingly forever. FSU was not prepared for the physical play of UF.
 
If Jimbo couldn't win it all this year, when will he ever?

Consider: (1) FSU has had a string of elite recruiting classes, (2) this year's FSU team returned 17 starters from the 2011 team and (3) they had one of the easiest schedules in college football.

FSU has likely hit its ceiling under Jimbo.

He's also throwing out a lot of desperation offers to get back in South Florida recruiting it seems
 
Some of you guys are insane. You pray he is there forever, this is the best season they have had in how many years and you want him to be there forever.

Fisher is a good coach who will recruit well, I would love it if he left and they replaced him with someone who couldn't recruit as well.

If they keep this system in place, I expect 2-3 losses a year from them, with the occasional BCS Game. I preferred the Bowden system with 4-5.
 
Meh. Less to do with Jimbo and more to do with EJ Manuel. If Mack Brown can win a championship - albeit with a transcendent college QB - almost any mediocre coach with a QB has a chance.

Agreed. This guy is also a good recruiter.

Cant wait for next year in Trailerhassee....they are going to have a new young QB, and almost our whole team will be back.

If they get rid of him they'll throw a **** load of money at a legit coach. If they want to be the new VT that's fine by me

Bobby Petrino can't recruit but the guy can coach. I rather face a Jimbo led 5* team than Petrino led 5* team. Imagine what he could do with a team full of top flight athletes.

Not only are these guys proving themselves to be excellent talent evaluators but they are showing they can develop talent

Are examples of guys who were thought to be lost causes under the previous regime, but have continued to improve under Golden.

Jimbo is a star ***** and just happens to have a phenomenal defensive coordinator, but the kids don't play for him the way our kids play for Golden, and I've already seen Golden dig up more buried treasure than Jimbo has in his entire tenure.

Golden is a great recruiter and talent finder but gameday coaching must improve if Miami wants to win 10 or 11 games a year...

So those are the only two options. Obviously I would rather face Jimbo over Petrino.

This is insane, the guy is a good coach and very good recruiter.

If people want to pray, pray Jimbo doesn't get a really good QB because he can recruit real Well.

Wow.

They wouldn't be VT, they would have better talent and have a higher ceiling. VT tops out because of the talent they have, FSU will always amass better talent then VT.

They've been doing less with more than **** near any program in the country. Biggest historic chokers outside of Clempson. Always have been, always will be.
