I owe someone an apology

Pac 12 is a joke. Oregon is good at this very point. We'll see what they look like when Herbert leaves. UCLA is coming. USC made some Changes. UW has the best coach in the conference. Miami's path to the championship is easier. I could definitely see Cristobal wanting this to be his final job after he gets washed by UW year after year. #Cristobal2020
Not to be that guy, but why would you want a coach who “gets washed” by UW or any other school year after year to be the next coach.

LOL so he took the job working for al but then didn't want his name besmirched so he left? That's an amazing piece of logical gymnastics you just pulled off.
You think you can judge the competency of an employee or employer from an interview or you have to actually start working for them to realize they’re completely clueless? Al was one heck of a used car salesman. He had an incredible ability to blow smile up your ***

No worries, he will get fired in a few years at Oregon for underachieving and Flake Blames will scoop him up immediately and pay him double. Then he'll walk around the Hecht with a **** eating grin and be all over 560 radio boosting up this elite hire.

Washed mightve been too strong but doesnt mean hes a terrible coach. Just not better than Peterson.Would you want Kirby smart right now? Would u want Jim Harbaugh right now?

You forgot the 10 year extension 30 minutes later....

Considering what we have right now, nah I’m good. I think I’ll stick with mork. I mean just look at Kirby, in two games vs Alabama the man lost by ten points. He’s obviously a wreck so no thanks.

I think you missed my point. I stated that Cristobal will lose to washington the next few years. Then I was asked why would you want a coached that consistently lost to a rival. And i stated it doesn't mean hes a bad coach. Harbaugh and Smart are good coaches. Wouldnt mind them here even though they have lost to their rivals.

Lol no I got what you were saying. It was just some sarcasm. Of course I’ll take either one. They both seem to do something that Mark can’t, put point on the board and recruits in the class.

Fck Mario...MFer worked here for a month, went to Bama and killed us on the trail.

Now he's all ****y that Miami didn't interview him before the ired Richt. FOH mario...

Just wait and see if/when they get a competent commish.

Think TV contract. Think China. Think Japan. Think Pac-Rim.
Sure, sounds great, but right now it's pipe dreams. Mostly due to their commish, that conference is at its lowest point in a long long time. And I don't just mean on the field product, by any means. It's systemic and runs very deep.

Agree. Organizationally, they are an absolute mess. Starts and stops with Larry. Promising hire that hasn't lived up to expectations at all.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Kelly/Leach/Herm led revolt.

we all laughed at Mario, Mullen, and Schiano coming here but this disaster under richt has forced me to apologize to Mario Cristobal a true cane.
A guy who is killing it on the recruiting trail. im sure he could care less what this board thinks but considering he will likely be our head coach in 2020, im sorry Coach Cristobal.
Biggest thing is to consider his hires and fires, at Miami he'll have to be a great GM also to be successful. Does Mario hire based on resume and does he fire based on results?

So we all knew al was a terrible coach, but Mario couldn’t tell until he got on the inside? Not only is that unlikely, it actually pegs him as a moron. Part of the interview prep was is finding out who your prospective employer is.

Know what’s more plausible? Mario took the job, the left when he got a better offer a few weeks later. He didn’t figure anything out, he just jumped at the chance to work for saban.
