Gary Patterson would be a helluva hire here. I don't know if he would leave TCU or his contract, but his teams are so disciplined, play hard and are so well coached.

Patterson would be a home run as well. TCU is probably the best coached team in college football.
 
I'm sure the entire board would be ecstatic if that happened, but from what I've heard there's no chance he'd come here.
 
It's not a slight against Butch to mention what a great hire Patterson would be. It's just that Patterson is not leaving TCU and meanwhile Butch would sacrifice his first born for the job.

Many of us wanted him last time around (Golden) and the time before that (Shannon).

Patterson average at best he wouldn't be a good fit here because he wouldn't want to come here so to talk about it is pointless
 
even if Patterson wanted to leave, we can't afford him and/or outbid programs with deeper pockets. They will be able to pay his assistants way more money than we can and that can often be the deciding factor for most coaches.

Butch knows the program, SoFlo high school landscape, and understands the TRUE expectations of the fans. He is the ultimate coagulant for our current hemorrhaging state. Bring his *** in ASAP.
 
Patterson is the man. But he aint leaving TCU. He has been offered big jobs every year. never left. He **** sure aint coming to stressful *** Miami.
