If we can bring in Bradley we'd add a ton of experience and a ST coach.


Demote or Fire Patke, and shuffle staff responsibilities.

Simpson remains DL Coach (Could consider replacing him with Ed Oregeron or Kevin Patrick)
DVD remains CB Coach
Aristride remains OLB Coach
TRob picks up Co-DC
Bradley ILB coach/ST/DC
 
WINSTON MOSS and not because he is a former Cane. Because he is OVERLY QUALIFIED! Not to mention his impact with local coaches.

The obvious choice is fire Patke and bring in a DC/LB coach. The obvious choice to be DC is Bob Shoop - and he's been very good at a lot of places. I'd be fine with it.

But he's never coached Linebacker and then that means someone else has to coach ST that is on staff. So it isn't going to happen.

You're gonna have to fire Patke and move Aristide to an off-field role. Hire a DC/LB and hire a ST coordinator and move the Strikers to be coached by either the DC or coached by TRob. OR keep Patke as ST/LB, move Aristide off-field, Shoop is DC and coaches nickels/strikers.. or same scenario except you fire Patke and hire a new ST coordinator that coaches LB.

Seems easier to just fire Diaz and start from scratch.

And all that shifting has to include that a DC is willing to run Diaz' scheme.

Because its obvious that he wants scheme to be run.

I don't have a problem with the principles of 4-DL, 1 gap, and get up the field. However, a different approach is needed. Everyone has his scheme figured out. Example, 3rd & 5+ stand by for the nickel blitz. QB rolls out automatic blitz from the Mike to set the perimeter (Which leaves the middle of the field open). It use to work perfectly until teams caught on.

As I've said before

NEVER underestimate the ability and willingness of STUPID people to do STUPID things

So therefore, since our administration has proven several times in the past that they are afully capable of being and doing STUPID things.

I do NOT EVER count out the fact that Manny could be here as HC having lonely pics of him taken in several empty stadiums after losses next year.
