Brown wasn't recruited here. Kid was a smurf in HS, y'all would've killed the staff had they taken him.

Jeudy obviously the biggest miss. I keep telling you guys, Miami absolutely CAN win big again. But usually, the best players win the most. Until Miami stops letting the best players from their backyard leave, they've got no chance.
 
I believe we will get to the point where we will consistently land the upper tier south florida talent. We need to land the top guys to win big though. Thats how we produce hall of famers from consistently landing the best 3 south florida players
 
Kids just don’t want to come to Miami. Our record is ancient history to them and our facilities aren’t that great. Better than before, but still meh. Not only that, our coaches are a step above high school level and inept recruiters at best on the whole. Plus, we can’t pay these kids a nickel. For anything.
 
Which coach was going to implement a scheme to get them the ball in open space? Which coach was going to develop the QBs to consistently make the proper reads and throws? Which coach was going to develop the O-line to give the QB time to make the proper reads and throws?

Fck, for real? We can play this game with any position group. ****, even bama can look at top players at each position and say we could have had that guy.

I get your point, at some point we need to get more of those top players if we want to be a serious NC contender. But spending your time listing every guy who's good and we didn't get seems pointless. And kinda stupid.

Hey man, not trying to **** on you. But I know we were "in" on Jeudy and Smith, but did you really truly ever think that either would actually come? I know they were on the radar for us, but were ever truly on theirs with the current (last 10 15 years of program/ and coaching staff) State of the program? Jeudy gave us a token visit for his parents after his infant sister died, and Smith gave us no reason to believe other than he was committed to Richt and staff while they were at UGA and priority for CMr and Co here? I remember their being hope, but never anything other than that.

I don't want to be adverserial but I never viewed either as more than a pipe dream.
 
I understand our complaints about underutilizing talent. If we had all these guys our wide receivers would put up big numbers IDC what anyone says.
 
My goodness. The amount of crying and whining that goes on in here is worse than a bunch of women on the rag watching Steel Magnolias.
