(I Hope There’s) No Bowl

Since the loss to OSU in the NC Miami is 4-10 in bowl games. If you take away the two wins in successive seasons after the OSU loss, because those bowl games were against in state rivals FSU and UF, Miami is 2-10 in games that are “meaningless” i.e., have no bearing on the national title race. Accept a bowl bid? Sure, for all the reasons stated. But traditionally, Miami couldnt give a ratz *** about these bowl games.and after what we all saw yesterday, good luck with thinking this team will show up. They quit.

This is a dumb take. Play the game, get the practice reps for the younger guys. Also... don't let this be our last impression for 7 months

I have been a fan since the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s. Been through all the highs and lows. I am in for the ride. Doesn’t mean it’s enjoyable all the way.
 
To your point (or lack of it!) Swampcity or any other Posters who agree, Serious fans like me who Bleed Orange and Green DON'T want Saturday's embarrassment To Be the Final Chapter in this season. Even if we lose, We play harder than anytime this year. No guarantees But I think we come out determined to Regain some of our pride that we lost against. N.C.! We can only improve on our performance (or lack of it!) And Hopefully Win outright! You can Never Not Want to Play a Game. That is a Loser Mentality! If you can't watch This team, our team, pimples and all GO FIND A NEW TEAM TO ROOT FOR! All due respect! FSU who would duck a Bowl Games will accept your lame support. Either you want this team to try to improve with an additional game and practices Or we leave this team and us fans with this ****** feeling for 7 months. Go Out and Win our Last Game Canes! Love My U!

idk wtf you just said, but Miami isn't just going to become good again magically, out of thin air, without putting in the work.

Manny Diaz ain't it...but this team won't be better than an 8-win team next year without more work, without more reps, etc. Next year, the only games to worry about should be Alabama and UNC again. That SHOULD be a 10 win team provided we keep D'Eriq King here.

I think Manny is about as bad a fit here at Miami as you could imagine...I was one of the first to trash the man on this very forum before he was even hired...before it was dujour to do so...but there is no reason why he can't win 10 games next year provided he makes some adjustments to the defensive staff, keeps Lashlee and King, and keeps recruiting. We've got a really good class coming in, too. But we are going to need more reps, too. That is what bowl season was for. Maybe this team can come out and beat whoever in the Trojan Condoms Sodomy Bowl, or maybe they get f'n rolled. idk...but saying no to a bowl game is sad ****.
