...is the Head Coach of THE U!!! Imagine this savage in Full control with our S Fla talent and his attention to detail and schemes! He has to have his shot at some point here cuz he is as Cane as it gets through and through it will translate all 3 phases. Head Coach in Waiting?

LMAO. Less than 2 months ago on this board there was a thread with many football experts who wanted Diaz fired. Now he should be the head coach? People need to make up their minds!

I still think manny is a liability. So please don't put me in the camp that thinks he's the one.

First lets see if he can actually maintain a good defense all year. Last year he strung together some great defensive games, but he also got exposed in a few. Can he recruit? Is he going to fill the assistant positions with green yes men? If so no thank you.

Too be honest I’m really nervous for when we don’t have Gerald Willis Next year.

Me too. We are not really recruiting at an elite level at all on the defense. It is actually hilarious we have the worst OC in the league yet we have a ton of studs on the O and are recruting very well(up until this year. It may come crashing down if we don't salvage the season). Then on the other hand we have a good DC schematically(I am giving him the benefit of the doubt because he seems to have tightened up the D from last year), but the guy can't recruit. We will be really shallow on the DL next year. If any of our LBs declare we are going to be in trouble at LB. DB we are fine, but any idiot could recruit DBs in so Fla and we are still whiffing on all of the truly elite DBs.

I'm not really worried about our DL for next year.

Jo Jack (if he stays) will give us a lot of what Willis is giving us this year and I like Ford and Bethel.

Our major issues are on offense.
 
Did you not see what happened the last time we elevated a green coordinator from a failed regime?????

The Univeristy of Miami is dead as a power, and you want to hand the reigns of this dead program to a guy that has never even finished a season with a top defense? That has never won a single thing of importance as a coach or assistant? that has never run a program, is a noted poor recruiter, at a job that is more over his head than it was for Shannon??

Im not exaggerating when I say this: people who think Manny Diaz should be HC here are easily the dumbest humans I have ever encountered. You seriously could not be more of an imbecile to even consider wanting him hired as the next HC.

He did bring in the #1 class. He didn't have to try very hard. He got 8 dudes from MNW and I think like 5 guys from BTW or Central. But that class was ****. Highly rated guys that never panned out. I believe they all may be selling cars as we speak.
 
Prisoners of the moment. The road to the Championship is paved with once promising coordinators who became first time head coaches.

Week 1 he was a goat. Now he's the GOAT.
 
Things are going great atm for Diaz but he needs to show more consistency. Do what he is doing now over a few year span.
