I think if you'll actually take note, you'll find that those of us who you would call bashers NEVER attack the team or players.

We DO however, take great exception to the coaching staff, coaching schemes, lack of coaching, and the Administration (including BOT) who clear have their heads so far up their sphincters, they can't tell if it's noon or night.

The absolute worst defenses in Miami history, and some clowns here think up all kinds of excuses for it. And THEN get irritated that some have the audacity to point out the painfully obvious.

You are just as bad as those that you criticize. Almost every topic turns into stupid arguments because posters like you swoop in and make some idiotic comment about coaches or defense.

What you fail to realize is most posters agree that coaching is at least part of the problem in some way. You aren't writing anything most people don't already know.

You're no different than the irrational posters who think Golden and staff have done a flawless job (though I don't think there are many of those) or at least shouldn't be criticized due to ****ty circumstances. You just push your negative, defeatist perspective from the opposite side.

Is it idiotic to point out that there was zero difference between the Maryland game three years ago and our unranked team that played Louisville just six months ago?

Is it idiotic to point out the complete lack of game adjustments?

Is it idiotic to point out that db's playing 10-15 yards off receivers is a bit too much?

Is it idiotic to point out that the 1-2 second delay by our Dlinemen to "read" enables opposing linemen to prevent our "reacting?"

Is it idiotic to point out that the 1-2 second delay by our Dlinemen to "read" somehow enables the opposing Olinemen to get to our linebackers?

Is it idiotic to point out that the 1-2 second delay by our Dlinemen to "read" gives that opposing QB 1-2 extra seconds to find his open receivers?

Look. I know in today's modern social framework, that the trend is to pat everyone on the back, and make sure everyone, even the losers get a trophy. I know we're trending toward not even giving grades as poor grades may offend the dumbasses, and we sure don't want to offend anyone.

I don't have any "delicate sensibilities" regarding the Canes. I'm not a big fan of Golden for a myriad of reasons but I also don't need to constantly announce it to the internet. I guess I'm not "old school".

At any rate, someone who doesn't know the difference between "truth" and completely subjective declarations can easily be dismissed.

Until this coaching staff demonstrates a willingness to stop the other team's offense outside of field goal range, I too can see us only winning 7 games this year. Couple that with unknown quarterback play and I can possibly see us going 6-6. Im hoping for an 8 win season but 6-6 would not surprise me at all. We have grand canyon sized holes in our two deep and again, a defensive coaching philosophy that is subpar.
