I for one welcome adidas as our new overlords.

Adidas is gunna give us something clean, that much I know. They generally don't try and jazz **** up like Nike always does. In the end I think alot of people will be pleasantly surprised with how it all shakes out.

This. Take a look at the work they've done with their other programs. They might try one or two exotic schemes, I've seen Louisville trot out some all blacks and greys, but for the most part, it's "back to basics" which is fine by me.

I thought our helmet coloring was horrible the last couple seasons. Yeah Yeah, I know the young players want to sport different, but Jesus, those bowling ball orange/green lids were atrocious. You can look unique AND not look like a candy *** on the field, it's possible.

Also I like the cut of their jerseys on the players... never thought they went overboard with any of the schools...

actually like Louisville and Tennessee uniforms.... simple with a tweak here and there

Wisconsin's uniforms are a very clean looking classic uniform. I hope that go with something like that.

all of adidas' base uniforms for teams are pretty traditional (minus cinci). their alternates are where they go crazy, which i actually don't mind too much because it's good publicity and recruits like them. if we go back to a classic orange with the sleeve stripes and occasionally bring out a spaceman suit, i won't mind.

here's the real question though: who owns our fonts? as far as i know, nike designed our fonts.

Lots of rumor that the deal is around 8 million per year.... if thats true that is way more than Nike was paying us.

There's your indoor practice facility....

A few things:

1. What was Nike paying us?

2. What portion of that was in CASH?

3. What portion of the Adidas deal is in Cash?

4. How do we know this will be spent on athletics?

1. Dunno what Nike was paying us but it was less than 4 million a year because FSU and Bama are one of the higher paid from Nike...

2. Cash...no clue?

3. Adidas and cash....no clue?

4. Well it's gonna be spread around athletics with football obviously getting the majority since its has the higher budget of any sport.

How could you possibly prove #4?

Also, let's stop spouting bullchit about this deal and how much better it is without knowing ANY facts.

IDC whether it's Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, or even Fubu! I just want this school to get back to being the powerhouse it once was.

Fubu? Is that the dude from Shark Tank? If so, I am all in with that. Since my blood pressure and ulcers can't take Golden Foosball anymore, Shark Tank is my primary TV show.
