That it was Manny Diaz who was met with the most scepticism while Richt and his "Offensive Prowess" was given a pass. So far it seems to me that Manolo has done an admirable job with a pedestrian secondary and 3 true freshmen LBs. His unit held FSU to 20 pts in a game everyone thought would be a shootout. Meanwhile, our "future first rounder" Kaaya struggled mightily in the 2nd half while the freshman Frenchman was clutch.
I said before this game that what I didn't want to see and what we couldn't do was play the FSU defense in a phone booth and come the second half that exactly what we did against a defense who hasn't stopped anyone this year and flat out can't defend anything when they are spread out. Absolutely pathetic and too reminiscent of a Patrick Nix game plan.
