I feel even better now about a win with Mali out

[bdcane4eva]

The minimization of Malachi Toney continues unabated.. .

Offense is going to be better without Mali

People are forgetting that Mensah won the freaking ACC last year with Barkate as his primary WR.

And now he’s in a better offense even without Mali.

We’ll be fine.

As long as we can anchor on their ends, that's what I really want to see.. don't get pushed immediately into Mensah lap.. give him time to at least scramble out

There ends are mid at best. Go watch that BYU game

BYU doesn’t give you the whole picture. Traore got tossed in the first series of the game.

Sounds like coping to me

It could be, but there's such a high level of respect across college football for Malachi Toney. Losing him for this game gets everyone's attention in a way manufactured media narratives and bulletin-board material doesn't.

I honestly feel our team will have a vigorous response to not having #1 on the field. They won't want to lose a game while he's out.

I feel ok about our offense but let's be real, but we are built to be a short-to-intermediate offense.

There's no long ball threat here which will allow ND to collapse the box knowing that we're going to look to bully our way through the game.

This will be a RB/TE game with some occasional threats from Barkate.
