I don't think them Norland boys say "Show Me The Money" yet

Duke needs to GTFOH. No RBs in 1st round anymore. If he stays and risks injury he'll raise his stock by what? 5-10 picks in probably same round as he'd go in this draft.

Unless we are paying for a $10M insurance policy on his legs, he needs to bolt. It's the right thing.

Flowers on the other hand would only benefit from one more year and be considered possibly 1st OT off the board. That's a top 5 pick usually.

I doubt Duke came to the U with dreams of trying his best to avoid injury and going to the league in the third round after three seasons without winning anything. He has many individual accomplishments but every time somebody points one out, he gives credit to his teammates. He's selfless, which leaves me to believe that his decision to leave will be harder than most fans think. Those that keep bringing up the Melvin story I feel would rather Duke sit these last 3 games or would have been fine with Clowney sitting the whole season in preparation for the draft. Duke gained extra muscle to take a pounding. Fat MF'S don't fall on your ankle everyday. Duke don't seem like the type that would play scared of getting hurt. He ain't no Ricky Waters....It ain't a situation of not caring for the players. It's caring enough to realize that his legacy at the U would not be complete if he leave. And just because it happened to Melvin that don't mean it's going to happen to DUKE.

Flowers should stay but Duke is 100% gone, I'm not even trippin on him. I'll be excited to see a bigger Yearby plus Scarlett, walton, Williams and gray. We gunna be fine next year

If any of our players can get out and get paid, they need to do so ASAP. Golden squandered a very good team this year and would end up squandering their entire careers if they stayed.

We'll be right here next year, at 6-4, talking about how Golden needs to go and there will still be imbeciles arguing that next year is the year we'll play for an ACC champ because we just didn't know how good Pittsburgh, a resurgent VaTech and Nebraska were going to be. Besides, we had to play FSU after they won their second title in as many years, and that's just not fair.

If Cassandra tells Duke to stay, he will stay. If Cassandra says go ahead....He GONE!

As for Flowers, hes a gonner, its just depends where will he get drafted. If he does well at the combine, late 1st, early second, but no later than that. NFL puts a premium on LT's.

I'm no NFL draft expert, but I'd guess that Duke would be the 4th RB taken...1) Gurley; 2) Ameer Abdullah ; 3) Melvin Gordon; 4) Duke

Am I forgetting anybody?

I'm guessing based upon the NFL's recent draft history regarding RB's, this probably puts him in the 3rd or 4th round.

Duke's gone.

Flowers will need to see where is he rated for the draft. If he isn't rated near the top. He will likely return because he is a guy that can definitely work his way into the 1st round if he does it right.

^ this. If Flowers isn't among the top OT's on the board, it might be worth it $$ to stay around and work his way into being an early 1st rounder.

Duke would probably be 4th round pick as of now. Flower's should stay and build up his draft status.

Flowers should and probably will stay. Duke needs to go, he has been the #1 RB here since he pretty much stepped foot on campus. He already has more miles than you would like for an all purpose back like him…..

Gurley's stock took a huge hit after tearing his ACL and getting suspended for a good chunk of the season. But yeah, that's fairly accurate.

Even as far as ACL surgeries/recoveries have come, maybe duke slips up to third. Gordon is also far from a complete back, ie blocking/catching out of backfield, so come combines and game of study of both, I can see duke possibly being 2nd rb off the board with a boss showing the next three games and at combine. But 4th rounder? Come on

I've actually spoken to Alonzo Highsmith about both these guys. On Duke, I'll put it this way. If the third round ends and Green Bay picked somebody else, he'd have an anuerysm. Dude knows ballers from Dade when he sees them. NFL people are high on Flowers. They'll both have opportunities. I'm sure Buffalo would snag him in a second if they watched any of Seantrel's college tape.

Frankly, I have no clue. Again, I'm no expert. But if you look at recent (NFL) history, there is shockingly little value put on the RB position. I think punters now make more, on average, than RBs.
