I don't like Barry Jackson (Dugans related)

FSU is a dumpster fire right now, we have all the momentum. Alumni be dammned why would he leave?

And if does best of luck to him, he is very replaceable
 
Dugans has barely any allegiances left with with anyone of the FSU staff... He's here with his understudy, in Richt, and would be wise to stick with someone that's respected in the industry, and totally capable of calling in a few favors later on in life for Dugans.

Also Dugans has family here in Miami, that i know personally. It's a good gig, the team is on the way up, which is strengthening his resume...

He'd go backwards in choosing to coach at FSU, with Randy 2.0.
 
When mark started here, he was newly fired HC starting over at disaster. Today, he just got one win from playoffs and in big 6 bowl. I think he can replace any coach.
 
Smart move by Dugans. Easy way to get more money from Miami...which is ok and fair. Using Taggart to leverage his case for more bread. I respect that

As a business decision and job security…

Should Dugan leave the Canes and accept a job with FSU he does so at his own peril.

The Canes are on an upward trajectory, which means job security for the current coaches and growing compensation. On the other hand, FSU has been on a descending trajectory with a new coaching staff that is led by a head coach that changes jobs as an annual event, which is the antithesis of job security.

Dugan would be at best making a lateral move that has the potential to be a short lived gig.

Pass the dice to a new shooter!
 
It about da mane getting a new UM tricked out legit Miami style Donk as a Christmas gift along wit da straight cash bonus all da coaches earned. UM keep winning, coaches gonna leave for bigger Jobes but Miami need to keep dis mane.

So does anyone have any real intel or is this all speculation just because Barry Jackson said he didn't flat out say no when asked? I believe like others maybe he just wants a raise and is playing his hand if so.

Yea maybe he's good but "Bigger priorities" then another wr I think.were doing pretty good at the position tbh....how bout some dline and oline it's won in the trenches you know they say

Dugans is just trying to get a little bump in pay from UM, he ain't going to work for an average coach to be booted out of his position in a few years. Typical news media creating drama out of nothing.
