-He has surrounded himself with horrible coaches
-He's an average gameday coach at best (and that's me being very, very, very polite)
-His decision to start a true freshman on the road against Louisville on primetime is very questionable. Kaaya has physical tools, and I have no doubt that he's a "better quarterback" than Jake Heaps. That does not mean in this game that he gives the team a better chance to win than Jake Heaps does. The stage, right now, is too big for Brad Kaaya. We start with FAMU or Arkansas State, or even if the Louisville game was in Miami, you can start Kaaya. This game? Kaaya is clearly not ready. It's evident from his play, and it's evident from Coley's playcalling. If you're going to baby him with your playcalling, you don't start him. It's that simple.
-The personnel decisions were atrocious. Crawford over Carter? Fentress over anyone, unless we're up or down 40? Duke coming out on 3rd and 1 in a close game? Unless you're dead, you tell his *** to stay in the ******* game. This wasn't after 10 straight carries or a 50 yard run. Not playing Waters until the game was over? Not playing AQM at all? If he's suspended, be a man and come out and say it.
-Once again, Louisville (and every team we play) is more amped up, shows more emotion than we do. We weren't embarrassed the way we were last year, but other than a few guys, on a few plays, we just looked like a normal team in a normal game. I won't say we were flat, but we did not match their intensity.
-The "mind games" and "psychology ****" is getting old. Stop it. No one is buying it, not the players, not the fans, not the media (outside of Zagacki, Beast and Bailey, Jr.). If AQM is suspended, be a man and say it. Don't just not play your best pass rusher. You're not ******* Bellicheck, stop with the no depth charts, and no info crap. Man up, d-bag. You suspend someone, tell us.
-Win a ******* game instead of a ******* slogan. Enough with this crap. The fans are done with it. We don't give a **** about "renewed" or whatever the **** it is now. We want wins. A lot of us were done with this crap last year, and some the year before. You're a ******* used car salesman, and a bad one at that.
-Unfortunately, I have a feeling it's not going to take a lot to lose this team. We'll beat FAMU, and we should beat Arkansas State, but they are one of the better Sun Belt, small FBS teams, and if our offense is still a pile of ****, they can come in and do what Louisiana-Monroe has done to Arkansas and Alabama (Nick Saban led Alabama). We'll lose to Nebraska and probably at least one of UNC/Duke/GT. Obviously we're losing to FSU and VT, so we're looking at 6-6 or 7-5 this year. This could get ugly. I don't think Blake James has the balls to get rid of Golden, which is a shame, but this could be Randy 2010 bad (which, if you remember, wasn't horrible record wise).
-Crowds are going to be pathetic. Next week might be decent because it's the home opener and FAMU will probably bring 15,000 fans, but it still won't top 40-45,000. Arkansas State won't top 25,000 (actual fans, they'll announce 45,000 since they sold 31K season tickets, and they count hotdog vendors). If we lose to Nebraska, we won't get more than 20K actual fans for Duke. It'll be Randy in 2010 vs South Florida bad.
-Golden's only hope is that he keeps the recruiting class together and that he can win on talent alone, like Coker did from '01-'03, though we don't and won't have that much talent.
