I love Lashlee and very excited for King. I expect big things, but why would I want Clemson in the regular season? prove that we are actually good, and we will meet them in the ACCCG.

Yeah I’d actually rather play them this year while we got a proven playmaking vet qb and our pass rush..I think we’d give them all they can handle and you never know, they’ve had some inexplicable losses in the past with Pitt/Syracuse coming to mind..

Guess I’m not as bold as many of you. Our team has a new OC and QB with no spring training. Unless this game is late in the season we’re going to need time to gel

Also, opposing defenses don't have a lot of film or time to prepare for us.

If our offensive players are already talking about how easy the formations and plays are to learn and apply, I think the "gel" time will be cut.

Clemson will have a well oiled offensive machine with two legit Heisman contenders and we are putting out a first year scheme. Gonna be a tough nut. Hope to keep it respectible.

We can beat Clemson by neutralizing Trevor Lawrence legs and making him beat us passing the ball. He is not the most accurate QB in the world. Our offense obviously has to show up too, but need to see them play before I can make a true assessment. Clemson should have lost to North Carolina last year not to mention the refs gave them the Ohio state game(paybacks a *****). If King and Lashlee are as advertised the clemson game would be a toss up.
