I am sad for Al Golden

After Saturday's loss I am no longer mad at Golden, I am just sad for him. It hurts to watch a coach that was gushing with charisma throw it all away because he just couldn't part with his best friend. If Golden fired dortios after 2013 and brought in Jim Leavitt or Coach O, the wntire defensive roster and scheme would be at a serviceable level and we would be talking about a victory over FSU right now. But no, he let coach dortios sink him. I admire his loyalty, but loathe his stubbornness. It has cost him his coaching career.

I don't think "sad" is the right word because the problem was of his own making, but this statement is 100% true.

Not only did he refuse to admit his defense brainchild didn't work, fire his friend and bring in someone with better idea, he also created his own cross to be nailed upon. The contract extension he extorted from the crooks in the administration is the reason he was not put out of his misery early enough to save his career. They would have fired him for the psu thing. At that point, "they didn't give me enough time and I had the cloud" would have suckered another decent school into hiring him. Now everyone knows he is a horrible loser who is so prideful that he cannot be trusted. He probably assumed our BOT actually care about football and would fire him a couple years ago and he would get his huge payday. In the end, he is right about one thing: IT IS ON HIM.

Only person I feel sorry for is the poor minimum wage worker that will be responsible for going in and cleaning his office after he gets ****canned. Can't imagine the amount of crumbs in his keyboard alone from the cuban tostada he eats every 2-3 hours, the empty lube jars under the desk, and all the naked pics of D'nofrio he spent hours printing in color instead of watching film of the next opponents.

Golden's weakness is his inflexibility and perhaps his loyalty. His defensive scheme was taught to him by Al Groh .Its what they ran as assistants at Virginia. Its all they know. They believe in it to the point of a little insanity. Golden's days as a top team FBS HC are done for now. He may go to a lowly program as his next gig or be an assistant .

Only thing I feel sorry about is having that SOB continue to be our head coach. Fug him if he cannot take the pressures associated with being the head man at UM. He is in waaayyy over his head. Guy is NOT a winning HC

Don't feel too sorry for Golden. His stubbornness and loyalty to his coaches got him here. So **** him for not trying to fix the problem's here. It's Groundhogs Day with this clown.

Fire Blake James!

You can't spell "classy response" without "C A N E S Y S". You can't spell Canes Dynasty without those either. Thems just the facts.
