Ppl hate UT fans b/c they r extremely entitled & think way too high of themselves despite results. It’s an air of Texas arrogance that can’t be put into words. I only know this b/c one of my friends & former colleague is an alum & I’ve met a couple of their boosters, & I immediately wanted to punch them out.

We’re not on this list anymore b/c if imma be frank, we’ve self neutered since at least 2011. “Fear the tie” broke the identity of this fan base. It’s why it’s acceptable to justify & accept mediocrity around here, & set low expectations.

I was thinking the same thing, Texas has won one NC in my lifetime, and that was with a top5/top10 all time college football player.

Most people almost feel sorry, or at least are befuddled by the fact that they have probably more resources than virtually all other college teams, and have had for decades, and they can’t seem to do anything with this. They have basically sucked for a pretty long time.

Yup. Imagine if UF fans had real money and were a tad more intelligent. That's been my experience with UT fans.
 
That's what happens when we suck for decades... no one cares anymore.

Although, I bet the Canes fan base would be at the top of the list. Just not the actual team itself.
 
10 years ago, we were still on this list and most likely towards the top, even though we weren't that relevant and had not been for a while. Add UF, FSU, and Southern Cal. Just shows how far those other teams have also fallen the last 10+ years

I was really taken aback on how they talked. U would’ve thought u were in a Bama or ****, even a SC crowd they were talking about their programs.

When I told them I repped Miami, the “oh” they gave me was so smug. So I kindly told of this story of how The Miami rule started on 01/01/91. I briefly explained what happened, and as I’m telling the story, one of my friends’ frat brothers goes…hey, was that against us? I said, lemme think….why yes, yes it was.

Lol.
