I’m Tired

We've become Iowa.

A bunch of meh season then the occasional double digit season only to lose the big game or the conference championship game.

I think people are turning on Richt faster because we're being forced to believe all the things UGA fans said about him as a football coach, that he won't get us any further then he did at UGA. And it not like they're wrong to. While we inherent all of UGA's old problems UGA themselves have become a REAL championship contender and not the pretender they've been with Richt 15 years at the helm.

Being Iowa is wishful thinking at this point ! Lol

Feel the same way....i havent even looked at the fuqin recruiting board. Losing mad interest in this so close to shutting it down for good.

Only way for real fans to look at recruiting right now is “expect the worst and hope for the best”

Been reading these boards for years, almost never post.

I have to say fellas, I am tired. I am tired if caring so much about this team and program. My dad went to UM, I went to UM. I was born and raised a Cane but I don’t think I can continue watching games with the hope/expectation that one day we will be “back”.

Is it really worth the stress, anger, frustration, etc of watching these games? of following recruiting, off-season etc consistently?

Richt has really been the final straw for me as it felt he would get us back in the national picture but he’s now on a similar trajectory to Golden with better players.

Someone can try to change my mind but we are a perrenial 8-4, 7-5 type team with occasional upside depending on schedule. Our basketball program is much more competitive and fun to watch.

I love the ‘Canes man but I haven’t felt this down in the dumps since being at the final OB game against UVA.

Just had to vent. Later boys

My exact feelings/thoughts. It’s drainjng with little to no reward. I feel like our program doesn’t care about winning as much they claim to. No way they’d let Richt keep trotting that out dated offense out there.

10+ years of mediocrity will do it. We've become an has been. Occasional flashes of what could be, but it's usually a mirage. Complacency stunts growth; now we're playing catchup for what seems like eternity. Wash, rinse, and repeat. It's embarrassing

I think Richt has created a divide in the locker room not only when it comes to who plays QB but other positions as well.

A blind man can see Rosier should not be in there but yet he he starts. But other guys starting in front of younger better players at other positions is curious as well.Players see the nonsense just like we do.

I was like a lot of you that thought Richt was a great hire and would bring us back to the top.Looks like his stubbornness and ego are going to be the deathnell of the program. He won’t fire the shtty coaches he hired, including his useless son,he hired nor will he admit that He sucks at calling plays and needs an OC.

We are mediocre guys.A 7-5 team looking for a toilet bowl invite.Worst thing is I don’t think our shtty AD,our wretched members of the BOT or the new president GAS....We had a chance to make a decent hire but went for an over the hill has been alum who had just been canned.

We are what we’ve been headed to for more than a decade......Mediocre.

I don't even follow recruiting anymore. It used to be my thing. The last 3 corches took that special thing from me.

I don't know if I'll ever get it back.
