Could we have really had Lane? I wanted Lane like a lot of us, but I was pleased with the Mario hire. Yeah, this has been a more frustrating and disappointing season than majority of the last 15+ seasons. I'm going to give Mario another season, but this has really pushed my limits so far.

All most of us expected was some improvement with this team. Nobody's expecting us to beat the Bama's, Georgia's, and Clemson's of the world, but it's inexcusable to get dominated by the Duke's and and MTSU's. Sorry guys, Duke and MTSU suck. I know our team is missing some pieces, but we have enough overall talent to cruise by these sorry *** teams. Lane, Freeze, etc... would have us at 6-1 right now. Maybe 7-0. Mario cant even improve from Manny. That's not a good look.

I heard that a little bit when we were going thru this hiring process. I didn't believe it at the time. I realize it now, and its an empty feeling.

We all wanna hear good, positive things about what we love the most. It’s no different than a parent re his/her child. At some point, truly good parenting calls for making the child responsible for his/her choices, make them face the consequences without interference. I believe this is where we are, emotionally and mentally. This game drained me. Duke moved at will. We stopped at will. Mario & Co willed this as coaches.
