Hypothetical Scenario

I like Satterfield & think he's a good coach, don't know if he'd be my first choice though.

I'd go all out for Heupel first (if he's not already hired at Okla), then work my way down the list before hiring Satterfield.

Luke Fickell is another guy I'd be pretty high on, don't know how interested he'd be though.

Would kick the tires on Justin Wilcox (if we could pull him from the West Coast) or Bill Clark if he wants to leave Alabama.

Fickell ain’t taking the Miami job. Not a chance.

My watch-list would be:

Heupel (upgrade from UCF)
Kingsbury (former NFL coach (he’ll get fired or be on the hot seat by then) will sell to recruits, and he’d run the O)
Jeff Scott (assuming he does well at USF)

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That makes sense.

They'd either hire Heupel or go get a guy like Seth Littrell.
It’d be pretty uncomfortable with Heupel after they fired him a few years ago. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them try to keep some continuity by hiring Bedenbaugh. Hiring an offensive assistant from the current staff worked perfectly for them with Riley. Decision makers tend to go back to the well when they have prior success.

100%.

I may be crazy as well but we possibly missed a good candidate with Shiano. Defensive background. What he did at Rutgers round 1 and NFL experience and then at Ohio State, he would’ve been a better option than Manure.
Schiano is trash. He worked that Big East garbage last time at Buttgers. This time he’ll fail catastrophically having to compete in the Big 10. Ohio Taint’s defense improved night and day the minute he left.

Next HC at MIA needs to be offensive minded. The program needs as many chefs in the kitchen on that side of the ball as possible. I don't care what anyone says Lane Kiffin can definitely win at MIA. He also could've been hired for dirt cheap. Once he succeeds at Ole Miss people will finally understand that he's no longer a corch
