We're not alluring to any Coaches already at good programs, our best bet is to get a really good G5 X's & O's guru looking for a come up & a pay raise, or find a vet NFL guy looking to get back into coaching like Herm did.

We really fcked up by letting our rivals up at Trailerhasse steal Norvell, he would've been perfect for us.

Mario is way better than Diaz, no question. I think we can do better, but you’re right about our problem of being able to lure high quality coaches.
 
Absolutely not. Hard pass.

No one in South Florida will like him and he won't get results. You'd take one look at who he is recruiting and you'd all barf.

If Lincoln Riley leaves this week, I’d expect Josh Heupel to be named Oklahoma’s new head coach. Call me crazy

I may be crazy as well but we possibly missed a good candidate with Shiano. Defensive background. What he did at Rutgers round 1 and NFL experience and then at Ohio State, he would’ve been a better option than Manure.

Just hire Butch Davis so that crowd can be quiet. We can probably get him cheap, and with no buyout.

He’s the savior some think him to be, and everyone is happy. Or he’s past him prime, like others think, and we’ll fire him after 2 seasons.

Heupel would definitely be the best we can do and I don’t think it would be a bad hire for us at all. How do you feel about Satterfield? I know it’s a longshot considering he just got there and I know Manny and Willie beat them this year but that team was 2-10 last year and they just won 8 games with an impressive bowl victory the following year. Get him a DC and I think he could do some damage here, JMO.

I like Satterfield & think he's a good coach, don't know if he'd be my first choice though.

I'd go all out for Heupel first (if he's not already hired at Okla), then work my way down the list before hiring Satterfield.

Luke Fickell is another guy I'd be pretty high on, don't know how interested he'd be though.

Would kick the tires on Justin Wilcox (if we could pull him from the West Coast) or Bill Clark if he wants to leave Alabama.
