HYPOTHETICAL: Banda as DC

I’m tired of lazy hires.
Disagree. Worst thing that could happen is internal staff disagreement which might result if we keep current assistants and bring in new DC. New guy might want some or all of his assistants. We had terrible coaching turmoil in '84 with somewhat similar situation.

I think it is a smart decision given great success on defensive side this past year. Patke and more likely Banda will have to make right calls but Ephraim has spent a lot of time with Manny on sideline.

I believe in continuity when things are going right and I believe it was a very smart decision to continue with great success.

We need to fix the offense.

Not at all concerned with the decision on the defense.

If only real life worked this way huh, just promote the guy whos worked for the co coordinator and keep rolling...

Rarely works out that way.

We’ll just have to disagree. I don’t have the energy nor patience to respond to this as to y I disagree. But u’ll find out next season y this was a lazy hire.

The money we're saving will be going toward the new curling team.

Maybe not a fun guy, but he’s right.

We'll see.
In the meantime, I get that he's not happy with the hirings.
Alot of people are the same way, and I'm somewhat skeptical as well.
It doesn't mean you have to shtpost 1000 times every day with the same drivel.
It's annoying.

-He's been with Manny at 3 different schools.
-Spent 6 years working under Manny.
-Had guys like Redwine developing and improving.
-Knows Manny’s defense and would keep the system in place.
- Young, energetic guy.

Bonus: the money saved from not hiring an experienced DC can be used to bring in a great OC.
That assumes Richt will hire one, though.

Anyway, promote Banda to DC and keep the defense in place— thoughts?
