People need to learn you can hype people up without dragging others down. You can like both players no need to pick a side.
Keem will be great as well period. He needs work though and still will play as a true frosh imo......Innis is first round type **** his routes creat separation he can catch and has speed. He's the gem of WRs for the 23 class.

Yes If you put them both on Miami's roster today, and went out to practice my belief is that Innis would immediately make plays. You could line him up anywhere on the field and he would make plays. Hykeem would look the part, you not see him make many plays, then all of a sudden he catches a deep ball that makes you see all that potential.

Innis could start at Miami right now, today. Hykeem could not. Now if you told me in 4 years Hykeem harnessed his natural ability, and really developed the skills at the WR position to put him as a first round pick, I wouldn't be surprised.

Same. Think we need both tbh. But innis is on whole different type of time. He’s a day 1 alpha in a college room
It always confuses me when people take 2 prospects with completely different bodies and skill sets and act like they fill the same spot.

Innis just seems so polished. He looks like he's a soph in college already. Plus dudes like him that have been the guy from a young age usually fall off cuz they maxed out early. Dude keeps getting better.

And even off the field aside his impact on the class would be gigantic. The hype and momentum it would build would be crazy.

Exactly. But humans have been taught and programmed to think in A or B. Yes or No. Black or white. Up or down. Left or right. Good or bad. Absolutes.

Yea, and he was doing this to OLDER kids since he was in the 8th grade. That’s the biggest sell for me there.

You imagine at 18 thinking you a dog then just getting absolutely routed up by a 14 year old. That woulda messed me up lmao.

I love Hykeem, but even local HS players/coaches don't consider him a complete WR. He's a go-route specialist. And people talk about him being kinda soft, like he doesn't respond well to DB's getting physical with him.

I know when we played Stranahan, he coincidentally hurt himself in practice the day before, so he sat out. (who hurts themselves during a Thursday pre-game practice?) Maybe it was just a coincidence. But I can tell you that nobody was surprised.

Yall get hyped off of highlight tapes and don't know what other traits these kids have behind-the-scenes.

Innis scares people. And he's a bully at WR. He's tough and ultra competitive. He's been dogging varsity competition since 8th grade.
Hykeem is not in Innis' stratosphere as a total WR.
Does Dillard play him this year gonna need ur comments if y’all do after y’all play. The physicality scares me but ya ppl smoking rocks if they think innis isn’t wr:1 for the whole country

Hakeem is really talented. Has incredible size at the WR position. My concern is that his entire highlight tape is streaks and hitches. I also know the schedule Stranahan plays and outside 2 or 3 games it’s really not competitive. I don’t have a problem with the strength of schedule because you can see talent but there is a reason Innis been ranked since his 9th grade year. He was running the complete route tree back then too.

Don't like hearing any of this

Thanks for the update.

Some of these posters sound like they are ready to help Innis pack his bags to USC and give him a ride to the airport to boot! Yeah..nah..we good! We dont need you, Mr Innis! Get outta here and dont send me a postcard from LA!

Smh.
I’m actually surprised that Ivins put in an USC CB. Saturday completely changed my outlook on his recruitment.

This the kind of info that Mario probably covets above track times and measurables

Grateful for the real talk. Some people say he’s the closest to his ceiling of the other guys but I haven’t seen him play live. I’ve heard Andy Jean has one of the highest ceilings. I hope he’s a Cane, zinnia is a long shot…

Nooooooo.
Innis is a way more complete WR.

Hykeem is tall and can run, that's his thing. He's not as complete as Innis.
Innis has size, he's strong, he's physical, can run all the routes, is like a RB with the ball in his hands, etc.

The local knock on Hykeem is that he doesn't like getting physical. If you can press him, he goes into a shell.
Always appreciate the response coach. I think Hykeen has a higher ceiling. My opinion! You have seen these dudes. Imagine Williams Innis Brown ? Seems Innis is about Coach Riley at the moment.

5 is too many. Maximum of 4 in one class or you are creating an imbalance that you have to correct in a future class. 100% chance 1 or more of a 5 wr class will transfer, and 100% chance all 5 will not be immediate contributors. Address immediate needs with the portal, take the 3-4 best from high school to set up the roster with the correct numbers, and best players to contribute.
