Hussey leaving team

I don't even care to look up rules for this sport at this point...

Can Hussey transfer down and play at FCS at this point? I assume that is the only spot he can play this year unless he files in Lubbock?

Seems silly to transfer like this. Two transfers in one off-season...I'm curious what the hit rate is for those players?

It can be done, Keionte scott did it.. Dont know the kids situation but the rules are different now so might not even matter

When I didn’t hear anything about him in the spring while JJ Dunnigan and Omar Thornton were being mentioned throughout.. I thought he would’ve left sooner.

He's also a royal pain in the *** when he's not playing football, plus Miami is recruiting and acquiring at such a level, he had a very small on-ramp to playing time.

You can't be just pretty good *and* a ****head anymore around here. You're just not going to see the field. We're way too talented and way too professional for that **** to fly anymore. I'm sure FAU will be a fine landing spot.

This is no surprise. As someone stationed in Fort Riley and living in Manhattan, I paid attention to Dunnigan. That kid is a hooper.

From his perspective, this would have been sound advice. Get some playing time, any PT on film and the experience of practicing on a sound program. Then, jump off and possibly play and start elsewhere. But, sometimes hubris is too much to overcome in a 20 something kid. And, speaking from my own experience, he’ll regret it later on. Best of luck to him. As for Miami, we are at that point where we can cull the herd, to add better players to strengthen the roster, and not look back, only forward.

Nah I don't blame him. Barring injuries he'd only play mop up time and STs here so he should go somewhere where he can play. Probably G5 or FCS at this point. Same thing with the corner from Arizona that bailed after Spring last year. He saw he wasn't gonna play much and went somewhere where he could and had a good season. It makes sense to stick it out if you're younger but Hussey is running out of eligibility.
 
If it was my last year of ball, I'd probably rather play as well rather than coat ride. Ain't mad at it.
 
Guy was just taking up space. Never worked. ****, he barely saw the field at a lousy Ore St team
